Being able to say this and mean it, is true Unconditional Love.

You feel this because you love the person.

Regardless of their actions.

Regardless of what hurt they may have caused you or other people you love.

This does not mean that you condone their choices or wish they hadn’t made different ones…

It simply means that, regardless of their choices, you will always have love in your heart for this person.

Coming to this point, IMO, has less to do with letting go, and much more to do with being honest with ourselves.

Honest with ourselves about our feelings and what is behind them.

If your S never comes home, do you really believe that you will stop loving them?

If you did stop, what does that say about what you called “love”?

How can you be unhappy for someone else’s happiness if you love them? Truly love them…
