When my 4 year old son was in a coma, I did not think anything could be worse. I even wondered how the world continued to turn. But it did. And life went on. And somehow - I learned that I could always find someone who had it worse than me. Sometimes that was hard to find but at least they didn't know what was wrong with Ryan. At least I had some hope. At least I didn't know that he was terminal.
So - you're right. Some people have it worse. Try to focus on the positives in your life.Try to hold on to the knowledge that "this too shall pass". It is VERY hard at times but it really does work.
