Punkin, I'm right there w/the other posters, do not respond to the email. He already knows your thoughts on the matter. He's pushing this for one reason only...to get what he wants and now. Don't take his bait. Sit quietly allow this to unfold a little bit at a time while you are waiting for your lawyer to get back to you. There's absolutely no rush in signing those papers.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
