"Neither one of us is to meet up with someone of the opposite sex except with both of us there as a couple"?

Not bad puppy, not bad. But, there a few select people that are of the opposite sex that I'm OK with her meeting up with. They are mutual friends of ours. I think that's what I was trying to convey with the "we both approve of" part of it.
