Wii, I hear you on the firsts! But I agree with OT on this one. Just stay upbeat and tell the kids you'll see them soon, to have a great time and call you if they want to talk about anything. They're probably disappointed because they don't want your STBXW to go nuts on them with no one to intervene.

Hang in there...DD's b.day party (from STBXW) is tomorrow and I won't be there which sucks and makes me upset but it shall pass too and the following week will be good.
