So STBXW come over with the movers last night to get the big furniture stuff. It was mortifying because it looked like a circus show on the street with the neighbor's watching the movers carry the furniture out. I felt really embarrased and humiliated but came out unscathed.
My STBXW moved her stuff out of our home at night, over a period of a couple of weeks, because "you know how I am...I don't want the neighbors to see"!
My counselor actually laughed out loud when I told her this.
It's OK to walk out on the marriage and family, she didn't have a problem doing that...she just didn't want the neighbors to see her doing it.
