So I should just ignore and pretend she's not moving out? Let her move out at her own pace?
Sometimes it's hard to keep track of all the advice that is given.
The reason I said "I hope you sleep well." was because she's had trouble sleeping lately. I don't think there's anything wrong with expressing compassion.
I was ready to go workout, and told her I'd see her when I got back. She snapped "I'll probably be asleep when you get home," so I gently told her that I hoped she slept well.
You don't reward CB. She snaps at you and you gently reply, "I hope you sleep well." Get the women on here to tell you how that looks to them.

Pinhead - I've never posted to you, and I rarely post anymore, BUT...
OMG!
I am going to find my old thread posts where I started to give it right back at my snarky/condescending STBX. I think I did it effectively, and he backed WAY off. I then made the decision what to do about US, after he approached me naked, trying to reel me back into being interested in him. (BTW, I filed for D this summer after 2 1/2 years of "trying" w/out reciprocated effort.)
God.
I was too much like you... I hope you learn. I'd like to help. It's freeing, and makes you SO much more attractive.
Call her on her sh*t. You don't need that.

The average woman would rather have beauty than brains, because the average man can see better than he can think.

There isn't anything wrong with it. In fact, I would have said the same thing. No point in snapping back at her, right?
It's hard to deal with someone who's bitter. So your response was approrpriate. I am guessing she had nothing to say to that?
After I said "I hope you sleep well" she quietly said thanks. Her self-esteem is so out of whack, that the only good attention and kindness she gets is from the man she's trying to leave...

PH - You should have called her on her tone. Maybe something like "I don't find your tone acceptable or respectful and I'm not going to tolerate being treated that way. You have no cause to punish me." What you did - sorry - made you a doormat. And you're not.
Is that the tone you want to hear from a loving partner? Where is your boundary? enforce - enforce - enforce
