That heat is oppressive!! I saw it on the news this morning an immediately thought of you and BBJ in the middle of that craziness! And they call GA hot and sticky! It's been in the 90's for weeks now but the humidity is at about 60-70% so not always as high as yours.

Stay cool!!!!

It doesn't even help with the breeze because that is hot too! We won't see much lower temps until Sunday. Chance of rain tonight. Let's cross our fingers!!

The lady I am seeing lived in Des Moines for a while and says that the summers are muggy hot and the winters are very cold.

I prefer the mild Marine West Coast climate!

The winters usually aren't too bad. Maybe a total of three bad weeks. This past year was an exception(I hope)! Lots and lots of snow and cold weather. I just hope we get to have a Fall in between Summer and Winter!

What is it about a flight attendant finally saying enough and jumping down the chute? It makes me smile because he did what some of us only dream of. There were so many rude, passengers when I did the job. It was if they felt entitled to do whatever they wanted. They so clearly ignored the safety demos, always demanded the special meal that they didn't order, rang their attendant button for a pillow that was just in the overhead bin.

I had a gentleman on a flight once that was trying to upgrade to first class. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and on my last flight due to union rules of the time. The man chatted with a lady in first class. Finally the agent came down and told us the flight was packed and she already had a full first class. This man had been all huffy and in her face at the gate and thought we would side with him once he got on board since he was already sitting there. The agent informed him that he would need to take his original seat. By now the overhead was very full. I was near the middle of the plane where his seat was when I heard him say "I have enjoyed talking with you. I must go sit with the peasants now."

Remember I was half way back in the plane and heard him clear as a bell. As he walked back to his seat, he half tossed his luggage at me, implying that I needed to deal with that problem. Just then a fellow flight attendant and class mate said loudly that I didn't need to deal with that, put the luggage on the passengers seat and opened a few bins around the guy. He pointed out a few places his luggage might fit and left it for him to deal with. The peasants around him were not too friendly to him on the long flight. lol

Sorry just had to tell that little gem.

Love that one!!

I've seen some super obnoxious behavior over my 20 years in the travel industry. Heck, I have some of those obnoxious clients now. They like to call themselves "road weary" but we all know the truth of it! LOL

I will check the video out when I get home. It always amazed me when we got delayed for weather that they blamed us. Yes, isn't it amazing that I have a direct line to God and asked for the weather to get really bad so all the connections would get messed up. Oh and yeah, let's not forget I won't make my connection home either. Another night in a so so hotel(that I could afford in Philadelphia) that I have to pay for out of my own pocket. Yes God and I are really close.
