GAG, new to your thread, but have read all the way through. I'm a roadie/tri rider dealing with an MLC squirrel as well. I was encouraged by your interaction with your H. For a long time I thought I needed no contact in order to detach. This was an impossibility due to our young kids. We've had two counseling sessions together, yet I still feel like I'm walking in a minefield. I'll try to emulate your optimistic detachment. Thanks,CNS
