LOL!! Are you trying to help or get me into even more trouble? I think for now I will just let sleeping dogs lie and let it work itself out. I certainly don't want to add any gas to the fire!

True, sometimes they get bored and start looking for a new position on their own. Wise strategy, Kat.

Sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you just haven't been on much. No, nothing new with my dad but we will be celebrating D9's birthday a couple of days early this weekend, so everyone will be together again. Sometimes I wish it was just the 5 of us on birthdays but I know that isn't fair. My brother lives out of state and my parents rarely see him and his family. So I take the 20% bad for the 80% good and go from there. Not much else I can do at the moment.

Hey--I wasn't on her much at all last week as I was in Chicago. Sorry I missed your birthday! Stinky that the lunch got shot to h@ll...ugh. Family can screw things up even more than strangers sometimes... smile

Best wishes for the upcoming year!

That is what I am thinking too. You know what though? Maybe that is my bad for the year and the rest will be only little bumps in the road. smile The boys tried a redo on Saturday night. S17 took his brother and I out to dinner at Chili's and then got us into the movies for free(since he works there) and I just bought something to drink. We saw Knight and Day. It was a fun movie. It was nice to see Tom Cruise in an action movie with some comedy in it.

OMG!! Puberty is hard on Mom too! The boys haven't been too hard but my sweet d11 is having so many doubts about herself. Not just the usual new school stuff either. She actually told me that she hated her big eyes. Where did she get said big eyes? You guessed it...me. She even asked why I was the only person who tells her that she is pretty. This is like me going through puberty all over again!! Do I have to do this again with d9???? Help!!

Ugh.

Tell her because everyone else is too shy to! LOL

Kids have such different personalities, who knows what will happen with D9.

We, meaning myself and her siblings, took D11 up to the middle school today and showed her around a bit. Of course, no teachers and I don't know her schedule but at least she felt better. I think D9 felt better too as she will be there next year. This is just the second "time" the girls have been seperated. I think it will help them each build their confidence.

Ex enrolled the girls but didn't bother to pick up D11's supplies that I bought. So I had to get those anyhow. I spent 2.5 hours at the high school with the boys and no a/c!! They each had problems with their schedules so we worked most of those out but we have a few more glitches to overcome. Can't believe this is S17's Senior year. Just think only 7 more years of public school after this one to deal with. Whew!!

I am feeling awful today. Just ill. I have a class I have to take this afternoon at 1:00. My boss asked if I wanted to go home and I do, but I have to take this class so I am going to fight through if I can. Sorry for whining. I need a pillow and a blanket. I have to be better tomorrow as we are going to KC to celebrate D9's birthday early(it is Monday).
