Punkin I must disagree with you. You think that Jen aniston and Sandra Bullock are any more than just humans? They are the same as us. They put their pants on one leg at a time. Maybe they don't come on this board and get as good advice as we get.
I would say MOST people give up on their marriages. That seems to be more of the rule rather than standing up for them. It is easier to discard what is old and tattered and get something new than it is to repair the old.
We live in a throw away society. Does that make it right? Why do you think MWD started this business and this board? Her parents divorced after 25 years of marriage. She didn't understand it and wanted to DO something about it. All the books and what she stands for are because she believes in Marriage. She is trying to set an example and change the way our society thinks.
