Thanks for the input NM! Yes, it is H's friend but I have done the daughters and the Mom's hair for awhile and will be doing their hair for the wedding. I think I will write down the return address so I can send a card and gift and then give it to H with the envelope addressed to us!

I DO want to brag about what wonderful kids I have though! The other night, after several different things having gone wrong or not worked, I was going out to start the grill for brats and it wouldn't start (propane)...figured the tank was empty so put a new one on and it still wouldn't start...I swear that about did me in! I was fed up with dealing with all of this crap happening all at the same time! So I BOILED (yuck!) the brats, we ate, kids could tell I was "on the verge" of something so they didn't talk, then I felt bad and the dam was getting ready to burst so as soon as I ate I just left and went to my room so I could cry without them seeing it and a minute later, S14 knocks on my door and asks me if I wanted to talk...we talked for a few minutes and just told him of my frustration of nothing working right today and when I went downstairs, my D12 had cleaned up the dishes and put things away without being asked! They are the best!!!

At this particular time in our life, do you ever wonder how we came to have such wonderful children? Most parents ask "What did I do wrong?" & now we get to say "Thank God I did something right", although it's a tough time for them, as well.

Ok I relate to the damn grill....but in the future, BROIL the brats! (Unless you didn't want to heat up the house, lol!)

The wedding is almost a 2hr drive from here...otherwise...I sure would go!

Thankyou for saying that my story about my kids melted your heart...it sure did mine! I miss them already! They are at SIL's (H's sis) for the weekend...she wanted to take them for a few days and their county fair is going on and my nephew gets to help with the pit crew at the local stock car races so they will be able to experience that! They were torn about going as this is their weekend with their Dad...he told them it sounded like fun and to go....I start my moonlighting job tomorrow night and work at the salon so it will be busy+my BFF's sis in law will be in town for a wedding and wants to get together sometime so will be busy but will still hate to come home to an empty house!

Hi CW, just catching up with your tread. You have wonderful caring kids...you must be a proud momma. I can relate to how frustrating it is to have to deal with everything by your self, every little thing is up to us to take care of...it gets to me sometimes as well. Try to enjoy your weekend without the kids...do something nice for you (((hugs)))
