As far as your second question: be honest but tactful. You don't want to give her false hope. Let her know that you do have a lot on your plate right now, that you are ok getting together once and a while but you would like to continue to be just friends if that is indeed the case. If not, let her know that too. Nothing worse then hiding under a rock and just hoping the other person will know what is happening!!
