I may be older than some of you girls, but have you ever noticed the contradiction between water intake and exercise? I joined an exercise class once that promoted heavy water intake, and the result was everytime I came down hard in some kick-boxing pose, I peed myself. Considered adult diapers - just dropped the class.
You are not older than me and my wife. Excercise the older you get is so important. We are finding that you can limit your water consumption prior to excercise and increase it afterwords, to help solve the problem that you are talking about. Either that or just take a break in the middle and go take care of nature.
Punk I don't know about heavy water intake during exercise. I take a 20 ounce container with ice and water with me to the gym and drink as needed during an hour or more workout.
I do take a break too during that time as Lance suggested. Punk, Lance is right as we age exercise I think is even more important.
Does much to improve your chances of longevity, illness, and really sparks the self esteem. Makes you young, so keep that exercise going.

These are delicious if you need to satisfy a sweet craving. I use the vanilla protein powder. I roll them in coconut and they are even better. Ha Ha Ha!
Protein Peanut Butter Balls:
3/4 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup honey 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder 1/2 cup raw oats
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and form into small 1" balls. Place in the fridge for a few hours and then enjoy.
Give them a try. So easy to make.

FMV: when I started on here, I was in physical therapy. I still have some problems but I am in good shape. Also, I have gone a week where I just drop things if I'm not feeling well. I wouldn't feel too bad if you miss a day or if you eat something "bad." Focus on how you feel, not the scale.
Although yoga is not cardio activity, I have found that it's an important part of my exercise routine. It's gentle and I feel very good after I have done it, so I feel more like doing the other exercises when I am doing yoga. If I miss too much of it, I hate all other aspects of my routine and fall off the wagon with everything else.
I didn't mix it up with the cardio but I did add music today and that has helped.
I will start a thread for week by week discussion on Sunday.

Ok now that detour cost me 1/2 pound. I know not much, but I have really worked hard and don't want to sabatage my weight loss plan.
Interesting mood may have a factor for me as well. I was not in a good mood all day and then I ate junk. Yikes! At least I am aware now and will have to watch it closely on those high mood swings days. Ha Ha Ha!
Off to the gym!

Ok well I redeemed myself. Weighed in today and lost that 1/2 pound I gained and another 1/2 pound yeah.
I ate movie theater popcorn and snacks. YUCK! There is something about movies and popcorn for me. Must be a behavioral type issue that will take much will power to break.
Back on track!
