My first posting here, but have followed your sitch sporadically ... just wanted to chime in here about your security. (BTW, I think you did the absolute right thing to go to the police re ID theft ... one has to make a stand for oneself ... there are boundaries that should not be crossed especially by a woman having an A with your H.)

Back to your security ... perhaps you can get another dog, one that is unfamiliar with H. Consider a security light ... one that lights up when someone crosses a certain barrier. Do you have a family member or friend that can stay with you for awhile ... just until things have gone through the legal system. I don't like guns, and I wouldn't suggest buying one, unless you are trained in how to use it.

Make sure you stay married until November ... why not have the extra benefits, after all the cr*p you've been put through.

SA, Yes I have a cell and get crystal clear service 1/4 mile from here ( at bottom of driveway)

My first fears last night have since turned into, I don't know, sort of funny.

H emailed me at home after his tirade, just to let me know he had a new Email address. I returned as if I hadn't read it.

2 hours later, he emailed me wondering why I wasn't responding. I sent it back.

1 hour later H emails me saying he has talked to representative at USAA, and that everything is fine as soon as I talk to my lawyer and get it set up. Will I sign? I sent it back

1 hour later H Emails me saying "I get it" I send it back.
15 minutes later H emails me "Will you call me please?"

He's lost his friggin mind.

That's MLC for you, Punkin. He must have no real idea of either the ramifications of what ow tried to do or just doesn't realize what she did.

I think you're doing the right thing by not communicating with him at all. Let the police and the lawyers handle it.

At night dial 911 on the cell phone and leave it by your bed. That way if anything happens all you have to do is hit send.

SA, ( Laughing, mental picture of me running in my pajamas down the driveway so my cell will work)

I think I'm going to use a more practical protection than even the wasp spray. I have a very heavy iron pry bar, and I may start sleeping with it. WTH, I'm not sleeping with anyone else.

I was going to send the first Email to the Sheriff's Dept., but now, with these others, I think I'll just hang on to them. It's almost a soap opera. You can't wait to see what happens next.

And BEING, thanks for your suggestions. I could easily install a security light outside my doorway. I've even considered an alarm system.

Hey punkin!

I would be a nervous wreck out there all by myself! I think BeingMe has a great idea in getting a dog that is not familiar with your H. You can get one from a shelter or just look in the paper as there may be some "looking for a good home" free ones!

A security light or a motion light is good too!

From all the emails that your H is sending...it seems like he is panicking, trying to change his stratedgy going from angry to trying to convince you that all is well....PLEASE SIGN!!!! I think it is good that you are sending them back!

How about a police siren and light that's tripped right outside your bedroom door? Can you imagine someone tip-toeing down the passage intent on something foul, when suddenly all hell breaks lose .... sirens, lights. And that new guard dog barking?

Maybe sleep in another room for awhile. This may, of course, all be a storm in a teacup, but it never hurts to take precautions. Your H may be panicking because OW is saying some stuff.

.... or he may've just

No doubt, though, that anything he has sent you, or said to you, is coloured with whatever OW has to say. Here is a man in MLC, just had a back op, probably suffering from PTSD, would be highly suggestible by a woman who he is infatuated with. He would believe anything she says because you have become the enemy. That's MLC for you, and top that with PTSD .... I just can't imagine how that combo would look like inside his head.

I would send the emails to sheriff to place in your complaints file. This is a kind of harassment, trying to force you to sign something you don't want to sign.
