I'm 1/4 mile from 4000 acres of National Forest. Last house on the road. Can't see a neighbor. My protection at this point is a can of wasp spray by the bed that can spray 25 feet. I also put my truck keys by the bed to hit the alarm if I had to, not that anyone out here would hear it. It would just make the dogs howl. My dog is apparently dying, and I can't afford to take her to the Vet.
As for boarders, I'm more a 6'2", 215 type of girl. But that would blow my vestal virgin image all to hell.
