Quote:

I spent most of last night gnawing over minor worries

You're not alone deary. I'm down to the marrow on my worry bone.

I think now that 'things' are settling down with my M, other issues-in-waiting have surfaced and are demanding attention.

Some of my worries are practical ones (financial, caregiving, etc.).
However, what I'm coming to realize is, I have a lot of work to do within myself, especially with some very old and musty issues.

Sage has touched on much of what I am grappeling with at this time. It's tricky letting go of the "story", eh?

Staying in the 'now' seems to help a good deal. I just have to keep reminding myself to go back to the present.
Oh, unruly mind.

Glad to hear that you and CJ are having fun this season.

Hi Jeannine, so nice to hear from you!

Drop that worry bone! Drop it, drop it!

Hi all...well I managed to get a whack of shopping done today (mostly groceries for the big cook-out). Tomorrow should be the end of the shopping, then it's Tues and Wed to cook...and maybe wrap?

CJ had all the lights on the tree when I got home ..I guess we'll decorate tonight.

Stayed up too late again last night...but at least there wasn't that worry! Just my new whacked sleep cycle.

Later!

Shiny

It's new for you to have a whacked sleep cycle?

Shiny and everyone,

Sorry for high jacking, I will keep it short.

I am almost at the point of telling H that I am thru, want a SA, etc.. I have decided to get thru the holidays first.

My ? is: If H wants to come home, it would seem to me that I should make it more difficult. Not be so available, let him realize what he is missing and fight to get me back.

Do you think it is a good idea to welcome him with open arms or a bad idea? H said he would come home by xmas. We have not talked about that since he said it one month ago. I will not bring it up and he might not either. nik

Thanks Karen!

I DO have a couple of days of cooking ahead (and I mean DAYS) so hopefully I'll get up before noon tomorrow. This morning I set it for 11:30 and then turned it off instead of hitting snooze!

We just saw the last "Lord of the Rings"....awesome... I won't ruin it for anyone who hasn't gone yet but if you have...what did you think of the endingssss?

Oh, My, it's still King Aragon for me!

(and I just love that he holds true to his only beloved, telling the blonde distracter that he cannot give her what she desires...sigh...oh, oops!...better just post now!)

I am so glad to see you on the up-swing again ! I admire you you greatly and while I may not always post to your thread I do read it avidly

I know what you mean about the cooking...seems like I've been doing nothing but for the past week or so and I still have the BIG DINNER to do (it's at my house this time ). H is being a dear and letting me get by with just thow-together meals the past 2 days (he took some vaction days so he's at home bugging me right now ) which is a nice lil' break

It's good to know that I'm not the ONLY one out there with a wonky sleep schedule !!

Can't wait to see the last LOR either...just bought the extended version of the "Two Towers" a couple of weeks ago...still haven't gotten through all the xtras yet !

I haven't seen any of the Lord of the Rings but loved the books!

So two days of cooking huh? WOW!!! How many people will you have at your house?

I don't know if I am doing anything for Christmas yet.

It seems to me Shinybear is a nightowl in disguise or is it that bears tend to wander through while everyone else is asleep? I've noticed the times on many of your post would put you on the other side of the world if they were to be daylight posts.

We're still tryin' to figure when we are going to fit in our Christmas Day feast? With D23 needing to catch a flight at 3:00 PM and now with the increased securuity, they say to get there 2 hours earlier. That means eating at 11:00 AM which would mean starting dinner at 7:00 AM!!! Maybe we'll have our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve instead! Oh wait ... we'll be at the IL's then.

Shiny ... you sound good and you've kept the Grinch away from your Whoville.

Merry Christmas to you & CJ.

'til later,
KAW
