Hi Shiny,

Rotten way to start a day. {{{Shiny}}}

Glad to hear you got your exam finished?

So when does your Christmas break start?

I am no ways ready for Christmas this year but a bit better than I was, just because I am feeling so much better!!

Hope your evening is going better!

Hi Pam,

Evening went well, nice Tilapia filets, rice, corn. Looks like CJ gave himself the day off of "school" and we talked more about the situation with B & J (of the earlier phone call). Watched some TV.

So....a question to the fitness buffs out there. Today is the first day since I've been "pedometering" (three weeks tomorrow) that I didn't do any "extra" walking. For the past three weeks I've been averaging nearly TRIPLE the mileage of today (my former "typical day").

I also boosted my weights, yoga and pilates-type stuff to 4+ times a week.

Add to that no snacks at night and about a 25% reduction in daily calories...you would THINK that would add up to some noticable weight loss, wouldn't you? Surely more than the two measly pounds my scale is telling me about!!!

Well on the 17th I find out if the hormones are all right...part of me is hoping there's an explanation for this!!!

Ah heck, things could be SOOO much worse!

if you are doing weights you are building mussle. mussle tissue weighs more than fat tissue (but it looks so much better.) you may not be loosing that much total weight but you should be redistributing what you have and also generally just feeling better.

Keep up with your routine and do not worry much about the scales. Instead, look in the full lenght mirror and notice how your clothes fit. And it does take lots of time.

Thanks Ogda,

I've been down this route before. I successfully kept my weight at about 20 pounds lighter than I now am for over 7 year with the help of regular exercise.

Then BLAM this spring/summer on they came.

I DO have a good muscle base and flexibility out the wazoo...just wish that six pack didn't have so much padding!

I bet with the extra exercise it is changing!!!

Just slowly enough that you can't really tell it.

Let me see if I get this right, PATIENCE!!!!!!!

Okay, this is a silly post, but has this happened to anyone else, and if so, isn't it ANNOYING!!!

I signed on here, made a post to lenwithoutlove (please check in on him folks!!!) and went to post it...locked up, all the parameters not met.

So I copied the post and had to exit and log back in to the bb...

Here's the irritating part...when I got back on...ALL the threads popped up as if I'd read every one to the most recent post.

You know what I mean? No highlighting of posts to be checked, number of posts since I last checked in, etc.

Is there away around this, or is it just a bb glitch I'll have to live with?

Ah, hell, if that's my BIGGEST complaint of the day......

I'll say...

We rented the last Lord of the Rings film in preparation for the upcoming end to the trilogy. Kept having romantic thoughts about Lord Aragon... ...

I doubt I'm the only one!

now I wonder...I had romantical thoughts of "wolf" (the blond one) from hair...am I the only one?

Now if you had said that about Gimli, you might be.

Yea, he's hot stuff. I also have a thang for Legolas Greenleaf. Me likes elves...
