Just one idea... if you can sell it to your daughter... How about fruit? If instead of big, fattening 'pasta' and 'burritos' you sell the idea of fruit being non-fattening to your daughter she might be more willing to eat. I am not talking apples and watermelon here. Bananas, avocados, dates, figs could be mixed in... Remember 1 banana has the calories of a half bagel, without the 'guilt' factor. Check this table for more ideas on acceptable combinations for your daughter...
