Good morning, all

Well, I'm in a good mood (okay, I'm almost ALWAYS in a good mood - H says I got the happy gene) - I did our quarterly estimated taxes yesterday and the bill wasn't as big as I was afraid it would be (yes, I do our own taxes - one advantage of being the daughter of two CPAs).

I'm trying to get S17 up this am - he went to a Dave Mathews concert last night, the tickets were our big Xmas present to him. Unfortunately, when I bought the tickets, I didn't realize that his calculus teacher was going to schedule their calculus semester final for the week BEFORE finals week - for yesterday and today!!! So we let him sleep in this AM and skip his first two classes so he could be rested and ready for the second half of his calc final. S says the concert was great, btw.

Trying to be more organized about using my planner to keep track of all the errands I have to do, to get on top of this busy life. I bought the Steven Covey inserts this year, hopefully all those inspiring quotes will keep me using it - I tend to get going for a while, and the forget to use it - and then of course it doesn't work well if you haven't been writing down your appointments

Last night I was helping D13 gather data for her science project - she had to redo some tests on hearing (musical pitch) so I took her to some friends houses who agreed to be subjects. One friend who hadn't seen us together for a while said we looked like sisters . Later in the car, D insisted that we did and that all her friends tell her what a young mom she has (I was 34 when I had her - I'm 47). Well, I have just as many crow's feet as any other woman my age - but I guess that shows how important attitude is, huh?
