I must confess, I think there was a little bit of luck involved, since it was definitely higher than his practice scores - but also, I think he just really focused when the heat was on and he was in the actual test. He tends to misread questions or overthink them, obviously this time he didn't do that! Went to dinner last night with my H (date night ) and we talked a little about R's and what we've learned. I mentioned gently that this day a year ago had been the worst of my life, and this day now was one of the best, and I was surprised to find out that he too had been thinking about the fact that it was the anniversary of the day I found out about his affair. Made me feel good that while I was being very good about not getting sucked into negative "anniversary" feelings, he was aware and caring about that possibility.
