Thanks, Kim
I remind my H how lucky he is to have me too!

For the rest of you - I was telling Kim how I forgot to post that my S17 got his SAT scores. We were really concerned that he do his best, because he had some less-than-stellar grades last spring (due in part to all the turmoil in the house ). Well, he got a 1590! (yes, out of 1600!). Hopefully that will encourage the college admissions to overlook some of his grades

Another thing I meant to post - I have just finished reading the greatest book. I am normally not a big fan of war stories, but trust me, this is the most thrilling story. It's called Ghost Soldiers, by Hampton Sides, and it's a true account of the daring rescue of 500 American POWs in the Phillipines (they were survivors of the Bataan death march). It's a real page-turner, Hollywood couldn't have come up with a more suspenseful story or more interesting cast of characters. It will definitely make you forget your day-to-day struggles - and put some serious perspective on them. Easily one of the best books I've read.
