Gatorz - I feel for you man. This is a tough situation. Hopefully the vets around here can offer some good advice on next steps. Until then, hang tight and don't make any drastic decisions. Even if she is trying to get all her ducks in a row for the 1-2 punch when you come home, it isn't going to happen all in one week.

That is another thing I am not sure about. What happens if she files while I am out of the country? I can't sign anything, so what does that do? Can she file for separation without me there? I need to do some homework i guess.

Puppy, I know what you mean, I really do. If I was home right now, I would be doing the same thing. If I go home, it can only be for a couple of weeks. That or quit my job. This is so stressfull.....

Are you in the military or a contractor? You should have some sort of legal counsel available. Talk to your supervisor, you aren't the first person this has happened to while deployed, use the chain of command to your advantage.

I'm a contractor...we really do not have many resources available to us out here. I am going to ask though.

On a side note, she just emailed me to ask me if I have told anyone about whats going on....wants to know if my parents know. I told her that I didn't even know what was going on. I just knew that she had these feelings that were not good.

What am I supposed to say to that????

She's fishing. Screw that -- she doesn't deserve to CATCH anything at this point.

I would ignore those.

I think you are right but i already did. should I just ask her if there is someone else? I know the odds of her telling me if there was are slim, but would it really hurt to ask?

Yesssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't do ANYTHING until you have rock-solid proof. You'll only come across as needy/whiny/controlling/accusatory.

Other than that, it's a splendid idea. wink
