Watched S's game / cooked out / cleaned up / got laundry started. Now relaxing in my own room. H comes into the house late with the team's coach. Eats leftovers WTF? But I was kind, "that's nice" Watched sappy HBO movie ~ H on couch watching "Nights in Rodanthe" ~ is he listening to the words??? So....I finish the dishes and just go to my room. Don't even know if he noticed / but I am ok. And I feel good about that!

"Is he listening to the words" Hiliarious. The very fact that he is sitting alone watching that movie is, IMO, original. I'd like to send my WH a copy of "It's Complicated". See if he gets the connection.
My H has seen it's complicated several times as well. Of course - there's not connection to him. His life and his situation is completely unique according to him. Somehow, by reading all of these threads - I'm not feeling so unique:)

Hi Irish, Hope you and your family are doing well. That's great that you are getting a lab puppy. I have a chocolate lab and she gives me so much love. I put her dog bed next to my bed so it's like Im not sleeping alone at night. Its nice having her next to me if I wake up during the night feeling sad and alone. That was nice of you son to invite you to dinner. My son doesn't have a girlfriend yet because he goes to an all boys private high school. I signed him up for tennis this week but he refused to go and started crying. He still seems sad. I hope he feels better once school starts he has to much free time now. We seem to have a lot of Lab lovers on this board! My Lab had a bed next to mine until about 4 months ago when he quit climbing the stairs. Yes, the company was nice, and I miss it.

Ya'll are killing me. My Golden Retriever had to be put down last October, and I've been playing with the idea of getting a Golden Puppy. Only worry that it would be alone so much of the time while I was at work.
As for sleeping with me-I doubt it would fart in bed half as much as H did.
