Thanks Lance, SA and NM! I don't have to make a decision until Sept so have some time to think about it but it is how I am leaning!

I did go and talk with the restaurant owner tonight...she was busy but took my info and will call me...sounded positive!

CW I can't help but think you would add a ray of sunshine to any place that you worked!

Restaurant owner would be wise to add you to the staff.

Best of Luck!

With all of us looking to sell our homes, the market should be a gold mine for an invester. CW, good luck with the job. Going back to work is what kept me sane ( or at least mentally responsible) for the last 5 months. I'm dreading going through another winter out here in the woods alone. When it ices up, I can't get down my driveway, and the power goes out all the time.
Aren't you glad I'm not writing the brochure for selling your house?

Anyway, good luck with the job! (((HUGS)))

Aw shucks SA! You made me blush! smile Thanks for the vote of confidence! I do enjoy that kind of work but can get a little intense if it is crazy busy! It will be a true test to see if I am succeeding in "fixing myself" as that is one of the things I needed to work on...staying calm under pressure!

LOL punkin! You have me sold on "can't get down my driveway and the power goes out all the time" How much are ya asking? smile

Heck CW, this job will be a piece of cake compared to what you've had to deal with during your H's MLC! You'll hit the floor running even during the busiest of times. Even dealing with a difficult customer won't phase you. LOL

H was here this morning to get the truck and the mower to mow at the rental house. First thing he said was"why are those lights on?" (the landscaping lights) I said I had no idea...he checked the timer and the kids must have messed with it so he reset it. He went out and got some stuff ready and I was standing at the sink washing something and he brought the dog's water bowl in and so I grabbed it and looked in it and he kinda laughed it was bone dry but I was looking to see if it had "green stuff" as it gets that way...anyway, I started filling it figuring he'd go back outside but he stood right there in front of the sink with me (kinda uncomfortable cause he hasn't stood that close to me for months!) so we just had small talk while it filled with water and he took it back outside.

Was out on the other side of the house pulling weeds when he came back so I just stayed there...I figured if he wanted to talk to me, he'd find me but he just put everything away and left...that's ok!

S14 and I got the hedge trimmers out and attempted to trim the hedges that haven't been trimmed for at least 3 yrs....how do people get them looking so nice and perfect? They are probably shorter (height wise) than they have ever been! S14 and I are only 5"2" so we cut them to our level!!!

It's not much but I have so few encounters with H that I have to journal them when they do happen!

Is there an outside spigot or does the water have to come from the kitchen?

Oooohh...I see where you are going with the questions! ..yes, there is an outside spigot but we have always found it just as easy to fill it from the kitchen...the spigot is right outside the kitchen door. So, that is not out of the ordinary but...both kids were outside with him and he could have sent one of them in I guess...I don't know...not reading anything into it and no expectations! At least I know that I am not the plague and he CAN stand beside me without having the dry heaves!!! LOL! laugh
