Dude,

Keep your head up. Know that there are people who care about you. you need to seek them out and keep them close.

Don't stop coming here and airing it out. It might not change things, but it will help your mood.

I'll keep checking in. And praying for you.

Hey, Barkley.

I've made myself take a little break and don't post as much but noticed you were having a rough go of it. I do still read and check in from time to time and wanted to offer my support, too.

You will have ups and downs, as you know. Ride it out. It does get better. It still sucks, no doubt, but you can deal with it.

Stay on here as much as you need to. Someone will always have something to say to pick you up and make you look at things in a different light.

Hang in there!!!

I told my D23 this the other day, and altho I was referring to these tough financial times, I think it applies to marriage and Rs and DBing, too:

"(D23), there's a time for swimming and a time for treading water. Right now, if you're treading water, you're doing pretty well."

It's an offshoot of the "He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day," with a twist.

Keep treadin', Bark. There'll be time for swimming again in your future soon enough.

Hey Bark,

Heard u were having a bad day. Keep ur chin up. Does the court believe her allegations? Not sure if this is the right answer or not, but can you make crazy allegations back at her? This is WAR and all is fair.

All of us are pulling for you, so keep your chin up and do us all proud.

I just found out that I am going to have little or no equity in my house and I don't yet have any idea what that means in terms of my D. The only thing in my favor is that my W has no idea what is up and has no plan! I on the other hand will have a plan.

Remember, quitters never win and winners never quit! Now pick yourself up and press through this. You can do it!

RELAX!

Bark,
how you doing man?

I have a question for you. Do you like cigars? If so, I can't think of much more relaxing than hanging on the porch puffing away. Unless you add some tunes to the equation.

If not, you ought to try it. But only good cigars. Hand made only. It's funny, but it really works. Plus going to the cigar store is a fun way to get out of the house for a while. Let me know if you want to give it a shot. I can turn you on to some brands that make good starter stogies that are mild and won't make you queasy.

Just a thought. It's a regular part of my "chill out therapy"

Mine too! iTunes on my laptop, some halfway decent headphones, a little oscillating fan blowing on me on my screened porch, a glass of Shiraz and a GOOD cigar. Ahhhhhh.....

Gets you back in touch with your inner Alpha man, too. cool
