Thank you again, Lance.

MHL, Thanks for visiting my new digs. Yes, I'm doing OK. Taking those steps, sometimes they're just a shuffle, but headed in the right direction nonetheless.

Punkin you're a trail blazer in your own right. You're not following me, we're walking beside each other. Sometimes we may reach out to grab each other's hand along the way when the going gets extra tricky.

Hey All,

Back from the horse show that wasn't. It got canceled about an hour and a half after we got there due to rain, thunder and lightning.

The show grounds are only about an hour away from home. We were up at 4:15 and on the road by 6:00. The show started at 8:00 and they called it at 8:15.

Yesterday we had several tornadoes in the area. They did quite a bit of damage, but so far I haven't heard of any one being seriously injured or worse.

We had a powerful thunderstorm at my house with high winds but were thankfully spared any tornadoes.

When we returned home this morning there was a river running right down the middle of the barn and the horses that are stabled inside were standing in water.

Nothing I can do about it until the water recedes. It's not raining right now and I hope it has stopped for a while so clean up can begin.

Hope you all have had a dryer weekend!

Oh man SA! Hope the rain subsides for awhile! It has certainly been a crazy summer weather wise! We have actually gone 2 nights without rain or storms!!!

Good luck with the clean-up!

Oh, I get it CW, you sent the rotten weather my way. A misery loves company kinda thing? LOL

Just kiddin. I think we're all taking our turn in the barrel this year. Rotten weather keeps bouncin around.

We'll have to start DBing the weather. We can't do anything about it so we'll have to detach. I hear Hawaii's nice this time of year...

Clean up consists of mucking out a few horse stalls. No biggie just a little soggier than normal.

Hope you stay dry for a while as well!

I'm talking affair busting the way it is done on the Infidelity board. I am NOT trying to stir anything up, just trying to clear some things up and help ST make a more informed choice.

SA,

You know, I do not know any LBSer who HASN'T confronted their spouse when there has been an affair.

Strangley...here in MLC I am not sure of many (who call MLC home) who recommend doing it.

I believe that many who have, thought they could have done it better.

This is a hard choice...here is the possibility of giving out some REALLY BAD advice, being responsible for giving you advice that WILL affect your realtionship, your marrige, some could argue that all they are doing is giving you advice...and that is true, just as the dealer is only selling you product not making you use it. Apples and hand gernades...but still...a truth to that as well.

Would I be hypocritical in saying even though I DID expose the affair, that I do not recommend it?

Would it be hypocritical of me to suggest that drinking a whole bottle of rum in one evening is a bad idea even though I did it once?

Exposing the affair, exposing in so much that you know about it? I do not think that is a bad idea. Telling the whole world? I think is a horrible idea with an MLCer. If they come out they have so MUCH damage they have to fix, relationships with family and friends AND you, why make that harder for them down the road?

Some people are going to know...but I do not think you shoul dbe hiring ad space or informing the kids that mom is blowing some guy on friday nigths you know?
