Well slap my a$$ and call me suzie, I stand corrected.
And no, not much the disco type either. Much the same as always, whatever fits my mood at the time, I was known to have "the i-pod from hell".
The "storm forcast", I don't know, but like with any storm pending, be prepared and expect the unexpected. There's I slight chance she's just processing, but who knows?

Sounds like a good time. Funny, the similarities continue. I am a diet coke fiend. Well, was. Drinking a lot of water nowadays. Also, dig a great cigar. Going tomorrow to a tasting at the local tobacco shop. I think it's Olivios this time. A good GAL event. Also a rocker. Those are all good tunes.
I don't think you are pursuing anymore. Yeah, you still are interested in what's going on, but it's not like you're following her around the house asking for answers. You have come a LONG way! We both have. I agree with whoever said to take it slow on the removing stuff. Yeah, it would be sweet, but it kind of smacks of revenge to me. And it WILL upset the kids. The best revenge is being cool hand Luke. Let her get anxious for a change. If you just look like you're chilling out all the time, it's going to start getting under her skin. Here is where a good stogie can help. It's hard to look (and be for that matter) anything but relaxed sitting on the stoop puffing away. What's your favorite smoke BTW?
Of course, it's way easier to give advice to someone else than apply it to yourself. Consider the source. I'm in the same boat.
Later.

Right on! My faves are Rocky Patels (1990, 1992, Old World Reserve, Sun Grown), Gurkha's (Medium to full), CAO's. Lots of stuff. I order online from Cigars International and can usually find some great deals!

Rock-on baby! Great tunes ALWAYS lift my mood. I've been singing in the garage and on the deck partying with the neighbors a lot lately. It's like I'm back in college!

I think I have finally dropped the rope completely. I couldn't care less what she knows, does, thinks or says anymore. it is liberating. I've been hanging out with friends a lot and am starting to see the world for what it is again.

Cool on the stoop is the way to go. I get more relaxed, she gets more stressed. I talked to my mortgage broker last night and also a friend who is refinancing a house somewhat near mine. His latest appraisal came in 25% lower than last time. Not looking good for my home sitch. There will likely be no equity left. W hasn't got a clue about anything financial. I am putting all my plans together and she continues to fiddle while Rome burns. I'll get a plan together and burn her dumb ass.

Lots of us are man.....lots of us are.....
Thanks for the support and you keep up the good work too!
Very little contact with W at all last night. Kids were at neighbors when I got home and W was sitting on the couch watching the Brewers on TV. She said "Hey" when I came in, but then sat there stone faced for a long time. Don't know if what I am doing is bothering her or not. She doesn't know how to play poker, but she has a pretty good poker face.
As noted above, I taked to my mortgage broker last night and my equity position is not looking good right now and the market values continue to drop. Still gathering information, but at least I will have a plan. W will have none. She is clueless.
Had herself locked in her room again talking on the phone this morning. Just now she got another call and walked outside so I can't hear her. She is always on the phone. Probably already told you guys this, but she ran her cell phone bill from the normal $80 per month to $150 and $135 the last 2 months. She is just stupid.
After the kids came home from the neighbors last night, I spent some time with them. W went upstairs to bed early to read because her stomach was bothering her. That has been an ongoing issue for her for quite some time. Too much stress. Funny how I don't really feel it any anymore. I followed her upstairs and told her that I have decided that it will just be me and the kids going on vacation. She is not coming along. She took it like a trooper, but asked if my Mom was going along. She is, but I told W that I didn't know yet. W is worried about what D will do when S wants to play golf. D doesn't enjoy it too much. That conversation was really pretty easy. Thanks to all for your advice on how to handle it. Then I told her I was going out. She asked if I was going to the neighbors and I just said no and left.
Kids went up to read at 9pm and I wished them goodnight and went out to meet some friends at a local bar. Had a few beers and went to another to find the little blondie. She wasn't working anymore, but she was sitting at the bar. She is VERY popular. Lots of people talking to her. After my friends left, I moved over to the bar and she recognized me right away. I am the garden guy!
Hung around for a few more drinks and talked with her and others at the bar for while. (W just got on the phone again.) When I left, shook hands with the guys and got a couple of big hugs from the blondie. She has a wild streak, but seems to be VERY sweet. She was also complaining about her current boyfriend. We may have to rememdy that. It was a very good night. Got home just after 1am.
My friend from work, a nice looking, but married woman I have worked with for 15 years, invited me to go to the "Country Thunder" music festival with her today. She has an extra ticket. So when I got up this morning, I told W that I am going out again tonight. Told her I got invited, but not by whom. She asked if I was doing anything today (I'm off) and I told her I am meeting someone around noon. I wonder if she thinks all these nights out are related/with the same person. She continues to be very stoic.
Anyway, gotta run. I'm GAL!!!! Sorry for the long post.
All I can say: it is coming. You want to board up the windows and doors. You want to put on your raincoat.....Guess what happens to the house of the people that don't board up their windows and doors...
Board up the house: 1) Commit to continual personal growth and take ALL focus off your W and R and M. 2) Always be the best dad. 3) Always ask yourself "What is the RIGHT THING TO DO?"

DAN!!! my MAN!!!!
I knew I liked you, Dan.
Also a big CI guy, and RPs are my faves, and especially the 90s, 92, and OWRs. I really do NOT like "The Edge" ones, tho, and they always seem to bundle a couple of those with their RP Sample Packs... ugh. So I give those ones away!! !lol
I also buy the CAO "Ying & Yang Sampler Pack" sometimes. You can get it for a good price in the "Make Me an Offer" section of CI.
Hey, if you want a REAL treat (but they're pricey), try a Liga Privada No. 9 by Drew Estates. My daughters buys me one every year for my birthday, Father's Day and Chritmas, and those I'm normally not a full-bodied guy (I prefer Med. about 3/4 of the time, with an occasional mild Connecticut the other times), this one is SO damned good. Mmmmmmmm......
Puppy, I hardly new ye. I've had the #9 it's a really nice smoke. I tend to be a Hoyo Excaliber man. The #1 in claro is probably my go-to smoke. It's the only band that I prefer the claro to the maduro.
I'm on a Nicuraguan kick lately. I love the La flore de Nics. the double ligero is a head banger. If you're looking for a really inexpensive smoke that is consistantly good, try La Finca if you can find them. It's a Nicuraguan that doesn't have a huge following, but is a complex, medium that has delivered. Through five or six boxes (~$65/box), I have had exactly one tight draw.
OK, I may have to come visit WI some time in the future. I'm starting to feel like we're foxhole buddies.
Good weekend you guys. In a half hour, I'll be off to fire one up (or two).
