QS why on earth do the other dogs ahve to go with yoru wife?

I just don't get why you are surrendering that if its that important to you and she can't be bothered to even show up for her pets put down...

Why would anyone leave a pet in the hands of someone who doens't even have the maturity to manage a pet in the first place?

We have 3 total. 1 being put down today, and the 2 others.

We are splitting the remaining 2 dogs, with each of us getting one.

QS,

I'm so very sorry about your dog. Your post made me cry, as I am a BIIIIG dog-lover. cry My "Big Puppy" is now 13, and having problems with arthritis, and I couldn't even watch "Marley and Me" without bawling (my dog is named "Harley" and looks EXACTLY like the dog in the movie).

You're in my prayers today and this weekend, buddy.

I agree. Plus, shouldn't the two of them stay together???

The dogs have bonded now... you split them up you hurt them both.

And she is in an apartment now so she's in no position to house them.

She filed, she loses the dogs. Period.

QS, not only is Allen right, but I think you need just such a "noble cause" to WIN right now. Seriously. A gallant fight for these dogs, successfully waged, will go a long way towards building your self-esteem and inner mental toughness.

She couldn't be botehred to show up this afternoon she clearly isn't willing to take responsability for even one Pet, let alone a marriage and a home.

To put the fear into you a bit here I think it was TWolf's thread where TWolf's Wayward wife was put in charge of her brother's two dogs for ONE AFTERNOON. She SPENT the afternoon with OM having sex at his place and left them out in the Sun all day.

They died of heatstroke.

Addicts cannot properly care for anything including themselves.

I have seen too many posts about wreckless wayward spouses who cause harm to those around them because they insisted on taking responsability for something while incapable of follow through

Your wife has proven today she's NOT capable of follow through.

No she showed up to the vet. Me, her, and her parents went to the vet together, and saw it through to the end.

What I was referring to was that instead of being at HOME this MORNING BEFORE the end, she supposedly went to work, which I have good intel means she was scoping out her new apartment complex.

She RAN from her dog as much as she could, just as hard she she RAN from the marriage.

She didn't offer me one single kind word today, and even started a fight. She is so deep in negative emotions toward me, that is is getting almost comical.

OK QS.. that's actually good

The more civil and calm you are the worse she paints herself...

When you stand there pleasant and calm and she flails about in her emotional downspin she will be quickly losing all credibility and no one will have much respecty for her...

This is a good sign...

For someone who is SO HAPPY about divorce why is SHE the one who is projecting misery? lol
