Yes. I understand.
I'm not a big smiler at the best of times so it will come across as "warm thought and neutral face"

It's a lot to control but all I can do is try to remain calm and keep my voice slow, calm and relaxed. Low. I tend to raise the pitch when defending or stressing something.

The new voice will diffuse and be a 180.

Don't focus on her commentary... Just read it like a speech

what SHE has to say doens't matter.. you are there to say what YOU want and to EXIT

This is NOT a negotiation or an argument, it is a statement of purpose and a quick exit after that..

Once you realize you don't have to work WITH what she says its a lot easier

So though she wants to "talk", I just say my thing and go?

I thought I would hear her out (other than lies) and then go into the speech and go.

Have I misunderstood?

You can listen casually, but I bet my paycheque next week that its' going to be in Puppy's top five list of garbage convo's from teh wayward spouse

Hear a bit, but focus on what YOU have to say... YOU have something that is much more likely to be constructive than SHE does

Give her an ear, but don't put much stock in anything good coming from it...

Kind of like a cop making an arrest.. if the suspect has to say something let him talk (and incriminate himself), but you reading him his rights and throwing on teh cuffs is the purpose of the "talk"

Even if she WANTS to negotiate and offers to end things right THERE you WALK AWAY

Always reject the first offer

Just say "I will discuss it with my lawyer and we will get back to you"

Got it.

I'm familiar with your list of "likely convo's"

if she starts going off topic or launching into rationalizations, etc.

I cut if off gently and "launch"
