The attorney I spoke with told me that if I wanted, he could have a D in court and finalized with 4-6 weeks if I wanted.
Thoughts?

I would imagine the 4-6 weeks time frame is only if you and your W agree on the division of assets?

Perhaps you could initiate a discussion about dividing assets with your W without filing.
