OT, I just bought the book and so far I relate to every Life Trap I've read...I'm one sick puppy! Anyway, I diligently tracked this book down, finding one last copy at a local bookstore (it ain't no best seller anymore!). When I pulled the book off the shelf I realized it's the same one wife read when she was briefly in therapy...oh boy! Yes, it was about 8 years ago on Christmas night when I mistakenly opened up an email that wasn't addressed to me...Merry Christmas Whatis! So, I confronted her right away and told her she needed to make some decisions about where her life and our family was going, enough was enough. She chose to dump her friend (who she insisted was still just a friend) and go for therapy to work through this compulsive R she had with this person. The therapist assigned her Reinventing Your Life to read, and I guess she really did reinvent her life because I'm no longer living there! Yes, it was five more years of me trying to save that marriage which failed miserably. Btw, wife dumped therapist because she felt she could do it herself, after all, she was a social worker! I will keep reading though, despite this bad taste in my mouth.
