So, 13 gallons of adrenalin (and a pack of smokes) later, all for nothing.
Of course, from the airport she goes to OM's SIL's.
Then, an hour before she is to pick up D, texts "Since you are in (big City aka "Worktown"), can we meet to switch Calla"
I didn't actually know I got it so by the time I read it, I was back home (call it Housetown)
So who shows up at 6? Yep. Chatty Cathy!! All happy and interactive. Like nothing happened the last 4 days. Like it was a dream sequence. And the best part, has OM's SIL in the truck (clearly doesn't realize I know WHO she really is.
I give her D's stuff (prepacked and ready) and tell her what D's new "tricks" are. I give her the meal breakdown. And, then go back in the house to get D's DVD player.
"Why this?" "Cause she won't sleep without it" "We were planning to come back tonight" "Fine then"
And off they went.
OM's STBXW is in Worktown near where they are going. No one has seen her new car. So she's gonna have a look for OM's truck or car.
In the meantime, thought I'd post and get some feedback and/or recommendations.
I don't want this all swept under the rug so I want "A Statement" if she tries to pretend it didn't happen.
