Speaking of yard sales, my daughter used operate a little crafts stand outside of our house on the sidewalk. She'd make fuzzy creatures, pine cone people etc to sell to passers by, when there wasn't any business she'd cartwheel down the sidewalk. I remember saying to her "you really love making this stuff don't you" and she replied "I love making money" She was about 8 then. Little did she know that Mom and Dad were drumming up sales by calling friends and neighbours. Finally, after a series of poor street sales she began selling fuzzy creatures to school mates to put in their school projects at 25 cents each.
So BBJ, if business is slow at your yard sale do the cartwheels, it could be a big draw on your street!
