I woke up this morning and checked to make sure my GPS thingy was working. It showed at the airport Park and Jet. WTF?
Sure enough, the truck is gone. Left the house at 5:30. Damn, I even thought about putting the GPS in her bag but thought it was too risky.
So, feigning dumb, I text "I didn't even hear you leave. Drive safely" She read it but no reply. So I send "But the mountains will be fun in the SportTrac" Hasn't even read it. So now I can't see where she is.
She said she is meeting up with her mom in Kelowna. I figured for sure they'd take the truck. His tires are bald. Damn.
So, sometime in the next two hours or so, I gotta send the interruptus. I just need to verify HIS truck is at the airport and/or he's not working til Monday. I can't believe she flew. And now has to rent a vehicle.
I'm choked.
Just checked the airline and there is an 8 am flight so she "may" have had to turn the phone off. I just emailed a friend who works there to see if he can get a look at the passenger list. Hoping he's on, too. More for the file.
