I love the symbolism of your dream....here is one interpretation:

he knows he is supposed to be with you subconsciously so that is why he took your truck. But now you are in charge of your life and he finds that alluring (I got this from you being in the driver's seat).

He goes in to kiss you but YOU don't return the kiss and he realizes he isn't supposed to want to kiss you because he is with OW...so your own feelings " no, it is not the right time." make complete sense!

haha--I havent' had dreams about stbxh in awhile but one part from a dream I had a year ago was that stbxh had come back to me and S. We went somewhere, returned at night, and a bush was on fire in the front yard--OW had set it on fire. stbxh was so relieved to be done with her. What is the burning bush all about? I am guessing to show that arsonists are coo-coo? And since OW was the arsonist...well...coo coo for cocoa puffs!
