Can you do that or do you mean you know they're online because you see they posted right after you did? I know some boards offer "Personal messages" but I don't think these do, do they?

Then she ran around the house; found her "favorite" jeans (it's Stampede week-which she detests) asked me how to get a new button on them (I said a seamstress will need to put on a new rivet-type) and then she was gone.

A nice, 20 minutes to drop our D and run. what a charming wife and mother.

Just enough time to get the recharged GPS thingy back into her truck smile

I hope you made a big scene over D - outgoing, warm, loving, etc... For both D's and W's benefit! wink (And your own too, of course.)

CD, if she's having trouble with her clothes look at one of your kids and offer to help them get something on it repaired or taken out... IGNORE your wife's childish games...She's USING you to CAKE EAT

She asked if I could fix it.
I said it needs a seamstress to do it properly and handed them back.

She said "but I want to wear them tonight"

"Then try sewing a button on."

Then I went to play with D.

I'm aware of her attempts to spin my plates.

Homey don't play that.

And I did throw lots of attention at D but she was pretty sleepy.

My guess is W's agenda doesn't fit my daughters needs.

D came home wearing pull-ups. We've got her potty trained pretty well (except for nights) but I guess that's inconvenient to have to pay attention to D's requests for "potty"

Unbelievable.

Yep... gotta love addictions...

Try to keep your suggestions to a min... It just sends the wrong message completley...

I would ignore her completely and talk to my kids... She will eventually throw a tantrum and stomp out of the room...

Like every other WS, it's all about HER at the expense of anyone else.

Good points, My friends.

I'm going to stop getting sucked into her conversations. My social interaction with her likely makes her believe that what she isn't doing doesn't really hurt anyone; and that I'm still the eager doormat.

Nope.

re-focus.

Make excuses to do something else. Especially with D; sleepy or not.

It's called a 180 CD... You 180 her by NOT being a doormat... Doormats get no respect and no chance in hell...

She's using you like pretty girls in science class use nerds to do their homework while they're off with sleazeballs who cut class to hang out in their van and smoke pot...
