She made a statement about me getting thin. I didn't acknowledge it.
While she was going on about the funeral she went to Friday, She adjusted her pants. I said "You don't appear as dangerously thin as you were complaining about three weeks ago" She said "yeah, I wasn't eating properly. Still don't eat the right stuff but I'm eating more"
Then she ran around the house; found her "favorite" jeans (it's Stampede week-which she detests) asked me how to get a new button on them (I said a seamstress will need to put on a new rivet-type) and then she was gone.
A nice, 20 minutes to drop our D and run. what a charming wife and mother.
Just enough time to get the recharged GPS thingy back into her truck
I hope you made a big scene over D - outgoing, warm, loving, etc... For both D's and W's benefit! (And your own too, of course.)
