Sorry, I understood what you meant. I was just commenting that "some" of the lines may have been intended for me to see (to test for reaction) or directed AT me.
But, again, sticks and sones.
And I won't respond to a coward who can't actually say what she means/needs/wants to say.
Since I have his hotmail address, would it give too much away (I pulled it fromher Yahoo) if I emailed him a "Back off, Jack" note about the time I text her the "Interruptus" note?
I intend to talk with THEIR boss/owner while they are away, too.
I don't like the idea of confronting him at THEIR work.
Yeah. She makes that comment all the time. ABout work and everything. The pressure of the secrecy; the divorce; child care (if you want to call what she is doing "care") is gaining on her.
Thinking of adding it to the Boundary list. I don't want to hear it anymore....or my D pick it up.
Confront the boss while they are away... I wouldn't bother sending email.. I honeslty don't consider email or text messages particularly brave... I think it makes you look cowardly instead really... like you won't face him or something...
I say go to the workplace directly... OP's are like bullies, stalkers, and child molesters.. they do the dirty work in the dark...
It's not just bravery, either. It gives you a chance to comport yourself as the most reasonable, trustworthy, CALM, honest guy on the planet. Insulates you from later (or even prior) attacks of your character from your wife, such as "Oh him? He's insane!"
I don't know about calling OM into the office... I would present this as an office matter and that the management is entitled to know about it.. You don't want to look like you are asking him to solve your problems...
Take as much evidence in there as you can...
Just tell him he is entitled to know what his staff are using work time to do and how this is likely affecting office moral... Not to mention they are likley putting their middle finger up at office policies as well...
I think just from a workplace standpoint you can make a case that management is entitled to know...
If that happens to put a dent in their dirty little secret and add a monsoon of stress on them... That's just GRAVY...
I thought that after telling the owner what was going on (while they are away next week)and his laibilities "since the affair will implode w/ 99% certainty", after they come back I'll need to confront OM. (stay away from my wife and D. You are not welcome in my family"
Rather than do it right in front of her (they are in the same department), I thought having OM paged to an office would make it "public" without being "public"
I'm not saying I'm right. Just explaining my motive/intent.
Don't have him paged... just do it... If everyone at work knows ANYWAYS this just serves to humiliate HIM...
Write a script ahead of time too... "you are not welcome in my family" is terribly weak...
"This sleazy office affair and you meddling in my marriage is going to END... NOW... You do'nt think I am gonig to stand aside and let the likes of you near a two year old girl do you?"
YOu could even address all teh toher women out there and tell them to watch this creep and make sure he isn't manipulating your wife anymore... Tell them she's been ill for some time now and this creep is exploiting it for sex to have sex with her..."
Here' sa nice scene from the film Clean and Sober :
INT - OFFICE -- DAY
A PRETTY RECEPTIONIST ... Working at her desk... And on the wall behind her... We can barely make out the LOGO for HORIZON EXECUTIVE PROPERTIES... And as she goes on about her work... A FIGURE... The BACK of a suit jacket... STEPS INTO FRAME... And the RECEPTIONIST LOOKS UP...
RECEPTIONIST Can I help you?
MAN (FIGURE) (his back to us; measured) I’d like to see Daryl Poynter.
RECEPTIONIST I’m sorry, sir... He’s not in. Perhaps another account executive...
... And we SEE the man now... The same man who went through Daryl’s mail... Late forties... Well-groomed... He speaks softly... Contained... As though just having swallowed a glass of nitro and not wanting to explode...
MAN (CUTTING HER OFF) When will he be in?
... And the receptionist regards him for a moment... Wary...
RECEPTIONIST I’m not sure. (lifting the phone) If you’ll have a seat... Perhaps I can find someone who knows...
... And as the Receptionist DIALS SOMEONE... the MAN moves to A SEAT in the RECEPTION AREA... And behind him... We can’t help but notice other people arriving for work... Making their way past him... And then past the receptionist... As Martin EMERGES from the hallway behind her... And the two whisper for a moment... And then the Receptionist nods him towards...
THE MAN ... Sitting there... Somewhat blankly... And AFTER A MOMENT... Martin moves beside him... Lowering his head to the man’s...
MARTIN (softly) Excuse me, Sir... You’re looking for Mr. Poynter...? To tell you the truth... We haven’t seen him ourselves for several days. Why don’t I have him call you as soon as he makes an appearance?
MAN (simply) I’m not leaving until I see him.
MARTIN (a SIGH; and then) Perhaps if you tell me what this is in reference to...
MAN He killed my daughter. ... And others passing through the reception area STOP... Not certain if they heard right... And Martin draws his face closer to the man’s... Lowering his voice... Starting to grow quietly anxious...
MARTIN Sir...
MAN He gave my daughter drugs... (finally turning; LOOKING AT MARTIN) ... And at eleven thirty last night... She died.
... And the two men sit there for a LONG MOMENT... Nothing is said... And beyond them... We can’t help but notice an executive picking up the Receptionist’s phone... Dialing a number...
MARTIN (quietly) Sir... I understand that you’re upset... Maybe you should come back another time... ... And the man PULLS himself out of his chair...
MAN Fine... (then; RAISING HIS VOICE) Fine. Well... He’s going to hear from me. (turning to Martin) You’re going to hear from me, too. (then; to the others) You’re all going to hear from me.
... And the others all stand there... FROZEN... The man...
Standing now... A SECURITY GUARD COMING UP BEHIND HIM and putting a hand on his shoulder.
SECURITY GUARD (softly) Sir... If you’ll just follow me.
... But the man JERKS the GUARD’S HAND from him.. And scans the room...
MAN You’re all murderers. All of you. Protecting a man like that.
SECURITY GUARD Sir? ... But the man simply TURNS... And makes his way out of the office...
ON MARTIN ... Shaking... Watching him go...
MARTIN (to himself) Jesus... ... And AFTER A MOMENT... He too, turns... Starting back towards his office... And another man... KRAMER... A grey-haired CEO... Falls in next to him...
KRAMER (simply) When you hear from Daryl... Tell him I’d like to speak with him...
... And just as quickly... Kramer STEPS AWAY... No longer at Martin’s side... And Martin slows down... The meaning of this not lost on him...
