Don't bother trying to figure out why they do what they do... it'll just drive yu crazy!!!!
I told my H I wanted a D, and 2 days after we get home he's asking us all to go to the movies, what I want for dinner, how my day was, why I'm cleaning, doing dishes, cleaning the house..... all of a sudden he's mister chatty caty and molly maid.
maintain your sanity by concentrating on what you are doing, not what and why he is doing stuff.
remember, next time he asks to do something, you have plans.
My favorite, is "Thanks, that sounds like fun but I already have plans. I bet the kids will love it, you should take them with you...kids!!!!!!! Dad has a question for you!!!!!"
Then I have time to go get a mani and pedi to relax.
