Um, if one believes that affairs are addictions, then how does it follow to "leave them alone, and let them die a natural death?"
Can anyone give me a SINGLE other addiction -- gambling, sexual addiction, alcohol, drugs -- that "dies a natural death" if you leave it alone? Don't most, in fact, ESCALATE as the addict needs a stronger and stronger high in order to get their fix??
