CeMar, I find it interesting that you are planning on telling your children to stay away from a certain type of individual because they are dysfunctional. Wouldn't you consider the fact that their mother doesn't show any affection whatsoever to their father, dysfunctional?
All I'm saying is that children learn from what they SEE not what they hear. It is quite probable that your boys will seek out a partner who is similar to their mother. This is what they KNOW of marital relationships.
If you want to spare your kids the pain of this type of marriage, then continue to work on your relationship--that's the only solution that I can see.
