This time has been given to me for reasons of which I am not exactly sure - but I will use it to learn as much about myself and those around me so that I don't carelessly let precious time and moments slip away. What I wouldn't give for some of those moments back...
Yes.
This is YOUR time.
Listen to Brooklyn. There is a time to look at your M...
Now is not that time.
This time is for Irish.
These moments are for you and they are precious.
Mustn't dwel;l in the past only that it helps in the now.

My goal is to some day be the person my dog thinks I am
Little tougher day today. Just hard to believe that my life has been dismantled in such a dramatic way! Came home to refrigerator leaking - don't know why...-don't know much of anything about home maintenance - yet here I am responsible for it all. How is it another person can just walk away from 25 years of doing all of this together? It's just so crazy!
Oh well, S came home from tourney - glad to have him back.
Just feeling a little sorry for myself - and continue to be emotionally exhausted! Need more rest!

Irish, I had the exact same thoughts and at first I was resentful that H just turned tail and ran leaving me to deal with everything that we used to handle together. Its been a while now and you know what? I now take pride in the fact that I can handle it without H.
Do you still have the manual for your fridge? If not, go to the net and type in your problem. You could also get the make and model number and make the search more specific. Hopefully you can get some trouble shooting tips. Is it an older fridge? Does it have an ice maker? If it does check the lines for a leak.
I don't know if it's hot where you live but it been hot for days here and sometimes warm weather is hard on fridges.
Thanks! I did google it and hopefully fixed it! Thanks!
On another subject - and because I am ignorant to these things - must you have a lawyer to file for a legal separation or can you file for this on your own. I know it might differ state to state - but I was just wondering.

IB, Speaking as an Military wife of 20 years, trust me, there is nothing you can't do. SA was exactly right about looking it up on the computer. I've always been self sufficient, had to be with my husband always deployed or off at a school. But let me tell you something, it was something he dearly loved about me, and now annoys the h@ll out of him. The last trip he came here, I had taken down the screen door, bought new, better materials, and had completely redone the door and rehung it myself. I'd been waiting on him for months. The look on his face said it all. Female Ingenuity Rocks.
IB, My husband was totally pissed off at me and went down and filed locally, when he could have had a JAG lawyer for free. I contested the divorce, protected myself and our assets, and there it has set gathering dust. #1 rule is to protect #1.
