I agree with BeingReal - that quote is worth writing down.

I am relatively new here and seem to be falling on my face every other day - but one of the main reasons I can't seem to stay standing is this weight I carry around from my past. "I am not worthy of anyone's love, time, attention unless I am working to prove my worth - helping, serving, fixing, supporting," --------and as I have learned from the lessons on this board - CONTROLLING!

Letting go of these feelings and false beliefs is more difficult than I could ever imagine and have required a heightened awareness that many times I don't like. But I am a believer deep down and I hope it carries me to the good side.
