Tell them both to move back to the house and we can all be one big happy family. LOL......JK
I hope you can look past the defense mechanism and see the point.

Kentucky, I'll take my lager from Canada, and not much else except the fictional girlfriend I had in highschool. : ) Anyone? Anyone?
I drink Bulliet (which I originally picked up simply because it LOOKED like it came out of the old west awesomeness!!!) Turned out to be one of the better bourbons out there. and Makers Mark.
Knob Creek...not too bad, prefer the other two more and I shall have to try Woodford.

Ahh my friend you have asked a very good question.
To my knowledge the only whisky(no e) is made in
Scotland: Scotch Whisky (made from malted barley and usually fired with peat during malting process but not always)
and
Canada: Canadian Whisky(can be blended like Crown usually sweeter)
I think maybe Japan calls theirs Whisky too following the Scottish tradition. DAMN good whisky too!
Whiskey (with the e) refers to:
The Irish: Irish Whiskey (usually made from malted barley but not peated) American: Straight Whiskey (can be made with any grain bill) Kentucky: Bourbon Whiskey (must be aged at least 4 years charred oak barrels also has to be at least 50% corn I think)
Haven't read the US liquor laws in a while.
My goal is to some day be the person my dog thinks I am
and not much else except the fictional girlfriend I had in highschool. : ) Anyone? Anyone?
Okay, I'll take the bait, who is she? and did you imagine you could "likker"??

Started with Maker's, moved to Knob Creek, but Woodford is the best IMO.
Honorable mention goes to, 1792 (Name of the Bourbon Whiskey and refers to what keynote year?? anyone?) It is a little on the sweet side but very smooth.
Have not tried Bulliet, will check it out.
