Thanks CTH. The girls and I did go and had a great evening, well I did at least! When we got home my youngest exclaimed "what a day, it was the last day of school, there's root beer in the fridge and we ate at a great buffet, it doesn't get much better than this." What a kid, she can just bring a smile to anyone's face, she's blessed that way.
I had a half hour nap before we left and felt somewhat better. It was so nice to sit with my church friends and chat together over dinner. The funny thing is that despite my day I was incredibly social and outgoing. I'm rather proud of myself, despite having a crap day I still went out and did something to make it better. Part of me wanted to stay home and veg, which would have been OK too, I chose to get out there and connect instead. My girls actually did enjoy themselves too. The first question was "what did your dad have to do to get you girls to come", the girls just smiled. They did put up a bit of a fuss initially but I said that I would really appreciate their company tonight and they agreed to come. So, tomorrow is a new day and I'm hitting the sack soon to hopefully get a decent nights rest.
Thanks to all my Dbing friends who took the time to come by when I was down. It really meant a lot to see so many responses so quickly after I posted my lousy day, it gave me a lift. Thanks again. smile
