I finally found a L. I see hime tomorrow. He understand that I want to protect myself but am attempting to work this out with W. Hopefully I can afford him. I feel a bit more at ease not knowing I'd show up as sharkbait in court alone. I am still nervous though.

Is he a family law atty? Any experience in "men's rights" and paternal custody issues?

If you pay him a retainer, try to get it set up so you can get any unspent portion of it REFUNDED to you should you and your wife reconcile. Mine did, and I got a nice chunk back (my wife's did not).

I'll bring that up. I didn't know what to ask him. I just told him what is happening, I do not want to be screwed by W's L, and we are trying to reconcile.
