Had an ace time at Glastonbury. Almost the perfect festival and can't wait for next year.
Developed a wholly ridiculous crush on one of my junior colleagues whilst there, but as she's st8 it will stay just as that. Fortunately she lives a couple of hundred miles away, so shouldn't be too much bother, so I'll just continue to enjoy the showering of txt from her. Also have a couple of other ladies that seem to be at least vaguely interested, so am continuing to window shop for the moment. I think I'm meeting at least one of them this weekend so we'll see what comes of that. I'm pleasantly surprised by the interest - never really done the dating thing with any gusto in the past, seemed to either just happen on the relationships or they were the first or second person I met from spells of online dating.
Slowly ticking along with the goals. Struggling to motivate myself with the work related paperwork/research ones as I'm having far too much fun doing other stuff and have always hated giving up even MORE of my spare time to work. You'd think the 50 odd hours a week I spend on the shop floor would be sufficient, and I hate that we're expected to do probably another 10 or so of our own time for research/reading/audit/teaching etc. Ho hum - I'm sure the mood will happen eventually, probably when I get a rocket up the bum from my boss.....
Still waiting for the separation papers to arrive. The STBX had better be prompt with them. I've had enough of her sh1t and the sooner she's totally removed from my life the better.
Reality is that which, if you don't believe in it, doesn't go away.
