They are playing Holland!!! One of the most entertaining soccer teams year in, year out.....
Plus, I am of Italian heritage. It is impossible for me to root for Brazil.
I may be pulling for Argentina. You have to love a coach who tells the press exactly what he thinks they should do to little Diego Armando Maradona!!!!!

He may be an animated guy, but keep in mind that he has a tattoo of Fidel Castro on his leg, a tattoo of Che Guevara on his arm, plus he is a big fan of Hugo Chavez and the government of Iran. I think he may have snorted way to much of the bolivian marching powder.

Looking closely at the "Goal of the Century", it sure seems like the English defenders were slacking off quite a bit.

As usual Kerry, you are a wealth of information.....ok screw Argentina (although I did get a kick out of his remarks to the press after they finally qualified for teh world cup). Hmmm orange crush then....Go HOLLAND!

Small update for those still reading along;

GF and I went away for a weekend....she is really heads over heels and it makes me a little uncomfortable. Probably because I do not match her "enthusiasm".

While reading BBJ's posts I began to ask myself if I had really moved on.....do we totally move on? Does the WAS move on totally. I know my XW continues to contact me with e-mails, texts and phone calls on a regular basis. I was interested in what BBJ's C said regarding the WAS trying to keep us at arm's length. My XW certainly has increased the communication lately. The question is why.....bored......nostalgia.......second thoughts.......habit.....none of the above ...... all of the above.
At the end of the day it does not really matter but it is interesting how one person's sitch can make you think about your own.
Oh well, Canada day yesterday....played golf and then a little supper with the boys.....we don't get as patriotic as you guys south of the border....
Will watch a little soccer on the (32") flat screen that GF bought me for my bday, lunch with GF (D9 is vacationng with her mom) and then a few stogies with my degenerate buddies.
Weather is beautiful, golfing again tommorow and then going to see the seniors on Sunday with VIP tickets that the XW bought for me for my bday and father's day.....
Hey, things could be alot worse!
