I'm not an attorney, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once. wink I would assume that NO, you CANNOT legally install keylogging software (or anything else) on the laptop or the cellphone ITSELF, nor in any way attempt to misrepresent yourself to get their billing records.

HOWEVER, what's being proposed here is DIFFERENT -- capturing screenshots via the in-home internet router, not the laptop.

Who pays for the ISP that he uses in-home to connect to the internet?
